I've Been Stitching..........

I am still around but extremely lazy. 

My new job is very physical and I'm worn out when I get home. 

So my sewing has been in the "not happening" basket. 

But as a birthday is very close around the corner of someone special I have been busy. 

This has turned into........

.......this !!!!!

I bought the book......Quilt As You Go Made Modern. 

So I got a little inspired.......

And I've nearly finished another. 

Pretty cushions they will be........

Since I last posted this has been stitched......

.......and these 2 as well......so 10 more to go and I can assemble my pink scrappy trips. 

I hate it when one gets a day off and spends it doing a million chores that take it all up. 

I've had just one of those days..........

Hopefully Sunday is kinder to me.

It Came.....And Show News.....!!!!!!!

My other parcel turned up the next day........

A jelly roll and yardage to go with the charm pack. 

And onto the show news......

Yesterday was the start of the Swan Hill show and Mum entered a few quilts. 

Mum won best of show with.....

....this. 

It's from the 'American Patchwork and Quilting' magazine. 

Mum did a great job......!!
