Grandma came for an early ride with me to the chiropractor as I was going to spotlight afterwards.
We got an easy skirt pattern for grandma and some fabric.......so I will have to dedicate a day or two to make granny some skirts.
While I was waiting at the chiropractor I happened to see that the diamond in my engagement ring has fallen out.
I'm a little upset that its gone......but at least I still have my ring.
This afternoon we waited at the doctors and as DH had 3 people in front of him before it was his turn.......Jacob and I walked over to the mall and went to the jewellers.
The repairman will get back to me with a quote for my ring.......it's not going to be cheap.
Jacob spent the rest of his birthday money at Target.
In between all our trips today I did finish this.....

I am so sorry you lost your diamond. That must have been such a disappointment.
Years ago my husband lost a little diamond chip from his wedding ring and I was surprised at the cost to replace such a minuscule little bit.
So sorry to hear of the loss/disappearance of your diamond from your engagement ring. Maybe it will turn up some day.
My aunt lost her engagement ring many years ago... searched the entire house... and nothing. Fast forward 15-20 years (back when washers lasted longer than they do now), a repairman was working on her washer and low and behold... down in the depths of the machine was her engagement ring! Amazing...
