Oh , My............

At 0315 this morning I woke up because I had gotten hot. 

The power had gone off......at 0120. 

All of Darwin and all the way to Katherine had no power.......

How could we cope without power.......?

School was cancelled .......

No traffic lights......

Banks weren't working.........

Businesses weren't open....,,,

The power came back on after they fixed the problem at 1100. 

Some areas got theirs earlier and some later. 

At least we had hot water......lol 

I had the little freezer in the fridge defrosted by 0800.......

I couldn't sew we iron my scrappy trip blocks so I pinned.......

........them ready to go. 

I did get these 2 this far before I had work. 

I did some hand quilting on the little purses too. 

And as always the heavens opened up just as I had to go to work. 

I hate driving in the rain.......

Well I'm naughty and have been watching t.v as well as writing this........I must just write and not watch as it's tomorrow and 0700 will be here before I know it.
