DH let me speep-in and I woke at a quarter to 10 .....omg I haven't slept that late in a long time.
Just before lunch mum and I went back up to the hall and packed up all our stuff as we left it there and then we cleaned up after ourselves.
As I am inside and not out in my sewing room I can't tell you who designed these ( but I will tomorrow)
I think everyone enjoyed making them.
Mine is the second from the left ( it has my keys on it ) I have been using it for months now and love it.
It's great for work !
Next up !
The lucky door prize.....
Everyone's name went into a cup and Mum drew out a name and Kylie was the lucky one to win a pincushion that I made using a very lonely cup and saucer that was my Great Grandmothers.
Now it won't be stuck in a cupboard........well I hope it won't !!
Lol.......
Simone actually started and finished a quilt......
( she still needs to clip it though )
Bernadette was sewing friendship blocks together quilt as you go.....
Wendy was sewing swap blocks ......
( which were beautiful )
Natalie sewed the binding on her quilt and started to sew it down.
Kylie was sewing blocks for a wedding quilt that has been and gone months ago.....lol.
Soft and cuddly flannel......
Leonie was slowly but surely puting her horses together.....one piece at a time.
Not for this little black duck ..... but beautiful all the same.
Dawn with her applique blocks .......she was machine button hole stitching them on her new machine.
Mum quilting away........
Heather sewing her final borders on her Joy of Life quilt that she started at the shop I worked at and came once a week to learn needle turn.
I do miss teaching......
I really must quilt mine.......
This afternoon DH and I did some pruning.
I pruned the grapes ( I know it's late )
And I did some more of the roses ( and yes these are late too ) still a few to do yet.
DH was weeding and taking the clippings away for me.
I managed to wash all of his clothes after being away too and I will have to iron some in the morning as he goes back to work tomorrow..
I know the picture isn't clear but......
Look........our first daffodil.
We have jonquills everywhere as well.
I think we forgot the eggs ......
Until Next Time.
